5 Ways To Make Your Man Feel Special

Every woman likes to feel special.

We crave that feeling, but how often do we make our man feel special?

They deserve that feeling too! They deserve to be the center of attention!

If your poor like me, (can I get an amen?) you can't simply go out and buy your man a brand new four wheeler or Rolex. BUT we can go out of our way in some more creative ways.

1) Brag about him
Nothing makes someone feel better than being reaffirmed with words. Post a status about him, give him a shout out on Twitter, or post your new favorite picture of him on Instagram. Tell you girlfriends why he is simply the best! Believe it or not you can even brag about him while he's listening, it's completely ok!

2) Make him a book
Making something homemade is always one of my "go to" ideas. Creating personal little books of memories and inside jokes will always bring a smile. Some easy ideas you could use are an "ABC book of our love" or a "52 Reasons why I love you." Pintrest is full of simple and thoughtful DIY that your man will love!

3) Leave him little notes
They will keep these forever! It doesn't matter if your married, dating for two months, or engaged leaving a note for your man reminds him that you're thinking of him and they need to know that!

4) Kiss him on the forehead
It's innocent and sweet.

5) Surprise him
Ladies you know your man! Give him a surprise that's just for him! If that means YOU ask HIM on a date to the new hit action movie then do it, or you could simply rub his feet after a long day. Go out of your way and do something that he will not be expecting, it will make his day!

As you can see it doesn't take hundreds of dollars to make your man feel special.

Now go get em' tiger!

Get Your Graze On!

I'm so excited to share with you today about something I am currently addicted to...

I find that I often frequently blog about food, so if this is your first time visiting, "hi my name is Stephanie and I love food!"

Over the summer my Mom introduced me to Graze

This delicious website sends you a box of four healthy snacks every 2 weeks. Not only are these treats healthy and adorable, they are already portioned out. This means you won't eat a whole bag of chips and end up hating yourself. Instead you eat the proper portion of a snack that will refuel you and boost your energy.

How It Works

Every two weeks (depending on how you set it up) you will receive a brown box in the mail. That's right, it comes directly to you! Inside you will find four snacks which you can then go online and rate. Graze regulates what you like and dislike to send you better snacks (much like Pandora)

 The Price

Each snack box costs about $6. You sign up online and connect your choice of card for the payments. Before you leave because this isn't free take note.
1 Bag of potato chips is about $3 (plus tax) and you can't just buy one!
You get four healthy but somehow delicious snacks for $6 including shipping! You can't pass that up!

The Best Part

Graze is  invite only.
But don't worry because I'm inviting you now! Congratulations!
Now you can join this yummy snack community too! (high fives all around) All you have to do is use my Friend Code.
BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE! Once you've used my Friend Code to join Graze you receive your first box of goodies for FREE, and if you hang around long enough you get your fifth box for FREE as well!

So what are you waiting for? Get your Graze on!

DIY: Reese's Cheesecake

I love desserts.

What girl doesn't?

This little dessert it the perfect serving size and it quenches your sweet tooth perfectly.

Just 5 simple steps!

You will need:
One box of "Jell-O No Bake Cheesecake"
And (obviously) Reese cups!

Step 1) Place a normal size Reese cup in each cupcake holders.

Step 2) Follow the instructions on the cheesecake box, minus the crust steps.

Step 3) Drop the cheesecake on top of each Reese cup.

 Step 4) Refrigerate

Step 5) Indulge yourself with the goodness.

Such a quick and easy dessert for a last minuet event or when you need something sweet!

**On the top of the cheesecake I added crushed mini Reese's and the pie crust mix.**

Enjoy, and bon appetit!

One Year

A year ago today Chris asked me to be his girlfriend and I readily accepted!

Now we're engaged and waiting for July 12th to spend the rest of our lives together!

This past year we have gone through such a whirl wind of events and crazy months, and I am blessed to have had Chris stand strong right there next to me.

Since a picture is worth a thousand words I figured I would share some pictures of our wonderful year together!

I am blessed beyond belief to get the honor to spend the rest of my life with this man who is also my best friend.

Love you Chris!

Having An Off Day? Try These 10 Things!

We all have those days... the kind where you just want to curl up in bed and sleep till tomorrow. Getting stuck in that kind of funk can mess up not only your day but weeks, and months soon follow. I've compiled a fun little list of 10 things that help me on an off day and I have a feeling they might be able to help you too!

1) Put on a feel good song!
No Adele no Civil Wars I'm talking fun up lifting music! A song that you just want to get up and dance, or maybe a song that just makes you SMILE! Here's a few that put me in a good mood!

2) Change your outfit!
You've worn it all day any way! It's gross it looks the way you feel so you might as well look the way you want to feel! If that means heels and a LBD (little black dress), or jeans and a fresh v-neck, do you! It's time for a costume change ladies!

3) Put some lip gloss on!
Why wouldn't you?

4) Take a tea bath!
Taking a tea bath is relaxing and leaves your skin feeling amazing!

5) Go for a drive on some back road!
There's nothing like driving down an empty road with the windows down and your music blaring

6) Drink something special (not alcohol) tea, coffee, etc!
Make your favorite tea, splurge on a Starbucks you deserve it!

7) Clean up!
If your house/room/apartment is messy go clean it! It's making your crabby anyway!

8) Read a good book (I recommend the Bible)
Take a breather, enter into a new story or learn something new!

9) Wash your hair!
You'll feel instantly better & refreshed!

10)  Paint your nails!
Go all out! 10 different colors!

Well there you have it! 10 ways to turn your not so good day into one that you can be happy with! Remember you deserve to do something YOU want to do!
